A walk, a ramble, a paseo…and maybe even a splash! whatever you like to call it, why not join us?
Our society walks are a relaxed way for owners, families and breed enthusiasts to get together, enjoy the outdoors and let the dogs do what they do best, explore, sniff, swim and make new friends. Whether you already have a Spanish Water Dog or you’re simply interested in the breed, you’ll be made very welcome.
Upcoming Walks & Meet-Ups
We’ll be adding regular walks and meet-ups here. Keep an eye out for upcoming dates.

Ainsdale Beach Walk – Sunday 17th May 2026
12:00pm meet (PLEASE NOTE, THE MEETING POINT HAS CHANGED TO 200M DOWN THE ROAD, DUE TO RESTRICTIONS)
A relaxed beach walk with plenty of space for dogs to stretch their legs and socialise. Due to dog restrictions from May to October, we’ll meet at the Discovery centre, a few hundred metres from the main entrance, then head over towards the sea, outside of the restriction zone, giving the dogs the chance to swim or play in the water.
Open to members and non-members.
You do not need to have a dog to join us. Whether you already own a Spanish Water Dog, are thinking about the breed, or would simply like to find out more about the society, you’d be very welcome to come along and have a chat.
All ages welcome, including puppies.
Nervous dogs are also very welcome, just let us know and we can help give them a bit of space if needed.
Non-Spanish Water Dogs are very welcome too, we won’t hold it against them…much 😉
Meeting point: Ainsdale Discovery Centre (Free Carpark) – view on map
